War has Begun

Remember the movie? Bill Murray, Warner Bros. 1980. The gophers made a worthy advisory, and so it seems for the owner of a vineyard. Plants have only been in a few weeks and the casualties have begun.

The first victim was a grape vine - came right out of the ground stripped bare. Not a root left. Then a second. But the third victim was the culprit and revenge was sweet. It is a battle, and either the grapes will lose, or the gophers. There is no way they can coexist. Time will tell who wins.
